Join us for this FUNdraising event highlighting some tastes, sounds and businesses that make up our local Cave Creek area communities. Creating community and connection is what Unbridle It is all about (both with and without horses) so being surrounded in a beautiful outdoor venue with horses is perfect!

Partial proceeds will benefit Unbridled Pathways (501c3 in process) and Chicks With Picks Foundation.

What to expect? Ticket price includes Bourbon/Vodka tasting, BBQ from Kingpin BBQ, Live Music and vendor booths for shopping and to increase awareness supporting our local community.

Carefree Spirits Distillery offers Family-made handcrafted award-winning premium vodkas and bourbons. Each ticket includes a taste their products. First 100 tickets will receive a Carefree Spirits bourbon glass! We will also have other spirits and beverages available.

Local Valley favorites (and beyond) Pandy Raye, Michael Assad and Jeremy Graham will provide the live music.

The Cave Creek Visitor’s Guide ad sales have begun for the 2022-2023 issue. We are excited to begin producing the 17th annual guide that has been promoting Cave Creek and surrounding areas for nearly two decades. “I never really intended on counting how many copies I have produced and delivered over the years but I’m pretty sure we surpassed the 700,000 mark by now. The success can really be attributed to all the spectacular and unique businesses in the area that have continued to support the guide throughout the years. In fact, we have seven businesses that have been in every issue from the beginning and that was probably the most important issue as its success led us through the next 16 years,” said Publisher & Realtor, Dale Samar. “A special thank you needs to go out to Big Bronco, Cave Creek Candles, Cave Creek Cowboy, Harold’s Corral, the Horny Toad, Rancho Manana Golf Club and Tonto Bar & Grill for their belief in me that very first year in 2006!”

Just a quick shout out to all that came out to the City Creamery for “Ice Cream at Sunset” on March 2nd to help raise money for the Foothills Food Bank. It was a great night. We’d also like to thank the raffle prize donors including the Prickly Pear Inn, Rancho Mañana Golf Club, JH Grass Fed Beef and Mongrel Design Interiors. We look forward to doing it again soon!

It was recently announced that the former Elysian Desert Distilleries has now changed its name to Carefree Spirits Distillery. Renea McQuiggan, President of the company said, “We are very excited to expand our operation in the same town where Carefree Bourbon and Chakra Vodka came to life.”

McQuiggin also stated the company purchased a 1-acre parcel of land in Carefree on Cave Creek Road just South of Tom Darlington. “This parcel is in an amazing location for the company to build  the distillery bottling plant, tasting room, gift shop and event center. We believe this will become a distination location as the company expands its production to a national level,” she said. It is anticipated that the new distillery operations could open by the middle of 2022.

The Carefree Spirits tasting room is located at 6201 E. Cave Creek Rd, Suite C in Cave Creek with hours of operation of: Tuesday – Thursday, Noon-8pm, Friday and Saturday, Noon – 9pm and Sunday, 10am-5pm. Closed on Mondays. https://elysiandesertdistilleries.com
