Cave Creek Rodeo Days

For more than 40 years, Cave Creek‘s Rodeo has been affectionately tagged as “The World’s Biggest Little Rodeo” and has provided the Cave Creek area with all the traditional rodeo events including bareback riding, saddle bronc, barrel racing, and the always exciting bull riding. World class professional rodeo cowboys compete for both pride and prizes in these action filled events.

The multi-day event always includes so much more than just the cowboy/cowgirl competitions. There is always a mutton bustin’ event for future rodeo stars, a kick-off western dance and a Rodeo Parade right through the middle of Cave Creek.

Each of the three Rodeo performances provide at least two hours of true western entertainment including all the traditional competitions. Additionally, there are also some very peculiar characters who provide some comic relief between events. Both kids and adults truly enjoy all the activities associated with the Cave Creek Rodeo Days. A special thank you goes out to all the dedicated volunteers who put on this genuine western event each and every year. The dates for the 2020 Rodeo have been moved to Friday, Saturday, Sunday – May 22nd, 23rd and 24th. The Rodeo will be televised on the COWBOY channel, Dish Network-232, Direct TV-603, Cox-260. Check your listings for outside of AZ or other carriers. At this time, the rodeo will not be open to the public to be in compliance with CDC guidelines and the Governor’s executive order.
